Your Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (d/f/m), you will work closely with our product teams and other stakeholders to develop and enhance digital products. You will be responsible for creating responsive and cross-platform designs, as well as building both customer-facing and internal components. Your expertise in UI/UX and system enhancements will drive the success of various projects. You will also proactively identify and implement UI/UX and system enhancements across multiple digital products. Maintaining code quality and consistency through rigorous code reviews is essential. Additionally, you will mentor and guide team members in technical skills and best practices, working with the team to break down complex features into manageable units aligning with features and epics. Providing high-level estimates and helping the team with providing realistic timelines to ensure on-time delivery are also key responsibilities.

What exactly will you do?

Responsive and Cross-Platform Development: You will design and implement responsive and cross-platform solutions that cater to a wide range of devices, from desktops to mobile phones. By ensuring that our digital products provide a consistent and smooth user experience across various platforms, you will play a crucial role in maximizing accessibility and usability for all users.
Component Development: You will develop and refine both customer-facing and internal components that are integral to our onboarding processes and user interactions. Your work will involve creating intuitive, high-performance interfaces and functionalities that not only enhance the overall user journey but also streamline internal workflows and processes.
Collaboration with Our Product Team: You will engage closely with our product teams to assess and ensure the technical feasibility of new features and innovations. Your collaborative approach will help bridge the gap between technical requirements and product vision, enabling the successful execution and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.

What you bring

Background: You have over 4 years of professional experience working as a Senior Frontend Engineer, with a strong foundation in frontend development using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS. Your expertise extends to data visualization with D3.js or similar libraries and knowledge of Web Components or Salesforce's Frontend framework LWC. You also have experience in a test-driven development environment and a solid understanding of agile development methodologies.
Skillset & Qualifications: You are an expert in frontend build optimization and configuration, proficient with tools like Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup, and capable of streamlining build times, reducing bundle size, and enhancing performance. Your skills include implementing authentication and authorization using Auth0 or similar identity providers, writing robust and maintainable code supported by comprehensive unit and integration tests, and working with frontend build pipelines including transpilation, bundling, minification, and code splitting. Proficiency in German is a plus.

Brief introductory phone call with one of our recruiters to clarify basic information.
Initial coding challenge: You will be given a programming problem to solve, which will assess your technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Interview: You will have a discussion with Sourabh and Débora, our Senior Frontend Engineers, where you will be evaluated on your technical expertise in frontend development and how you approach complex problems.
On-site Discussion: During this session, you'll engage with Swagata, our Team Lead for Salesforce, Salma, our Team Lead for Frontend, and Louis, our Product Lead. This meeting will focus on assessing your fit with our company culture and team dynamics, as well as discussing how your expertise and perspective can enhance our projects from both a technical and product standpoint.
