Your Role
As a
Staff Software Engineer (Backend Focus) (d/m/w), you will design and implement scalable backend systems that support our digital products. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will lead technical initiatives, ensure code quality, and mentor other developers. Your expertise will drive the success of our engineering efforts and contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions.
What exactly will you do?- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring seamless integration and reliability.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide team members while driving best practices in code quality, testing, and system design.
- Collaboration and Deployment: Work with product teams to align technical solutions with business goals, managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
What you bring
Background: You have over 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on building distributed systems. You have extensive experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React, coupled with a strong foundation in clean code principles and scalable system design.
Skillset & Qualifications: Your expertise includes managing CI/CD pipelines, working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform. You are proficient in automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress and are committed to maintaining code quality through rigorous reviews and best practices.
Mindset: You exhibit a proactive and innovative mindset, driven by a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Your strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are complemented by a collaborative approach that thrives in dynamic environments. You take ownership of your projects and are committed to delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
